Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team! The Lead Mechanical is responsible in the areas of mechanical including developing polices, standards, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools for mechanical matters involving judicial branch facilities. Coordinates for activities such as plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical engineering as part of the project requirement and ensure compliance based on the standard and statutory requirements.
Lead the development of mechanical systems for the projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
Manage mechanical aspects of projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with other disciplines and stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in mechanical systems design, installation, and operation, resolving complex engineering challenges as they arise.
Ensure the quality and integrity of mechanical designs and installations through thorough reviews, inspections, and testing protocols.
Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high standards of performance.
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to procure mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and schedules.
Identify potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding mechanical systems, addressing their concerns, and providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing mechanical systems design, installation, and operation.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering, implementing innovative solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Professional certificate in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) is preferred.
14+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on construction oversight.
Experience in stadium or large public venue projects is strongly preferred
Experience in PMC roles is preferred.
Mastery of engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP modeling software for designing and analyzing MEP systems.
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design principles, installation methods, and operational requirements.

Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards governing mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international requirements.
Strong project management abilities to oversee mechanical projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with other disciplines and stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues related to MEP systems, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
