Job summary

Parsons in Saudi Arabia seeks a Deputy Resident Supervision Manager to oversee a 20-engineer supervision team on a major infrastructure project with a focus on MEP works. You will stand in for the Resident Supervision Manager when needed.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 10 years in field construction, and deep MEP experience across water treatment, HVAC, or district cooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of field construction experience.
• Strong MEP experience, preferably involving water treatment plants, HVAC, district cooling, or similar projects.
• Broad understanding of construction methods with specialization in CSA or MEP works.
• Prior experience as a Deputy/Resident Construction Engineer or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Act on behalf of the Resident Supervision Manager in his/her absence.
• Lead reviews of Method Statement for constructability compliance.
• Final approver of Contractor construction submittals.
• Manage team workloads across a diverse project scope of inspections and surveillance.
• Monitoring Contractor progress and highlighting potential delays to the FIDIC Engineer.

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deputy Resident Supervision Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Resident Supervision Manager and lead a construction supervision team of approximately 20 engineers and inspectors on a major infrastructure project, with a strong focus on MEP works.

What You'll Be Doing

• Act on behalf of the Resident Supervision Manager in his/her absence
• Lead reviews of Method Statement for constructability compliance
• Final approver of Contractor construction submittals
• Manage team workloads across a diverse project scope of inspections and surveillance
• Monitoring Contractor progress and highlighting potential delays to the FIDIC Engineer

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction field. A Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred .
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in field construction.
• Strong MEP experience, preferably involving water treatment plants, HVAC, district cooling, or similar projects .
• Strong understanding of a broad range of construction methods and techniques with specialization in either CSA or MEP works
• Prior experience as a Deputy/Resident Construction Engineer or similar role.
