Job summary

Maaden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) is seeking an seasoned Exploration Geologist to drive mineral resource growth across its portfolio. You will shape exploration plans, interpret geology, and lead drilling programs to increase resource confidence and project readiness.

You will coordinate field activities, manage contractors, and deliver technical outputs that strengthen resource evaluation and stakeholder alignment with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in geology, exploration, or resource development.
• Experience leading exploration drilling, geological modelling, and resource evaluation.

• Shapes exploration plans that advance priority targets and resource growth opportunities.
• Defines mineralization potential through disciplined geological interpretation and technical evaluation.
• Delivers drilling and field programs that improve resource confidence and project readiness.
• Transforms exploration results into clear recommendations for portfolio and investment decisions.
• Leads exploration drilling, mapping, sampling, and field activities across assigned assets.
• Optimizes field execution to improve safety, productivity, cost control, and technical quality.
• Coordinates contractors, equipment, and resources to deliver exploration priorities.
• Maintains accurate geological data capture, validation, interpretation, and reporting.
• Develops geological models and technical outputs that strengthen resource evaluation.
• Improves geological databases, records, and quality controls to protect data integrity.
• Identifies geological risks and opportunities that affect resource confidence and project value.
• Aligns exploration activities with resource development, mining, study, and business priorities.
• Provides expert guidance that supports technical decisions and cross-functional alignment.
• Maintains compliance with safety, environmental, technical, and reporting standards.
• Applies leading exploration practices, tools, and technologies to improve performance.
• Builds technical capability and promotes knowledge sharing across exploration teams.
