Job summary

AimGulf is seeking an experienced Lead Design Architect to steer the design direction for large-scale architecture, interiors, and master planning projects in the Middle East. You will lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and present the design vision to clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include defining strategy, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and mentoring architects while supporting business development with compelling design proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Professional architect registration or licensure.
• 15+ years of experience in design leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define the design strategy and architectural vision for each project, from concept to execution.
• Lead design teams through the concept, schematic, and design development phases, ensuring quality, consistency, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate architecture, interiors, engineering, and external consultants to deliver a cohesive outcome.
• Integrate commercial, regulatory, and technical requirements into design solutions.
• Present design intent and lead design reviews with clients, executive stakeholders, and authorities.
• Manage multiple high-value projects within timeline and budget.
• Mentor junior and mid-level architects, and set design standards and best practices.
• Support business development through design presentations and proposals.
