International Maritime Industries is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Commissioning Lead to oversee planning, testing, calibration, integration and handover of instrumentation and control systems on new offshore jack-up drilling rigs. You will ensure regulatory and class compliance, safety, and operational readiness through rigorous ITPs, FATs/SATs, and vendor coordination.
The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in instrumentation commissioning, with at least 8 years on offshore rigs, plus
Oversee the planning, coordination, execution, testing, calibration, integration, commissioning, and handover of instrumentation and control systems for new-build offshore jack-up drilling rigs, including process instrumentation, control valves, Fire & Gas systems, ESD/SIS systems, drilling instrumentation, HVAC/BMS instrumentation, and monitoring systems, to achieve safe and reliable system operation, regulatory and class compliance, operational readiness, and successful project delivery and client acceptance.
Direct commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications, API, IEC, classification society requirements, and quality standards to ensure full compliance and successful certification.
Promote and enforce compliance with permit-to-work systems, SIMOPS requirements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and project HSE procedures to maintain a safe commissioning and energization environment.
Oversee the preparation, review, and closeout of commissioning documentation, including check sheets, loop folders, test reports, red-line markups, vendor reports, ITRs, MC/RFCC/RFOC certificates, and handover dossiers to ensure documentation completeness and traceability.
Direct punch-list management, construction-to-commissioning transitions, readiness assessments, as-built documentation, O&M manual development, and final handover activities to ensure operational readiness and successful project completion.
