Job summary

Saudi Aramco (ASC) is seeking an experienced Joint Venture Management professional to join the Upstream Affiliates Coordination team. This role focuses on corporate governance and business support for Upstream Affiliates.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, strong skills in corporate governance, and proven experience in joint-venture management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas value chain, preferably within an IOC or NOC.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Joint Venture Management professional to join the Upstream Affiliates Coordination team within the Upstream JV Management Department. The role focuses on attaining best‑in‑class corporate governance and business support for Upstream Affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate board and governance matters including preparation of agenda, review and analysis of board materials, briefings, and recommendations/actions for resolutions.
• Act as the primary contact point between the JV companies and all Saudi Aramco organizations, ensuring effective communication protocols between stakeholders.
• Monitor and provide guidance on JV business, including corporate governance, commercial terms, and various contractual agreements in collaboration with Finance, HR, Technical Performance, and HSE teams.
• Organize and coordinate workshops related to JV operations, covering technical performance, HSE, commercial, and legal matters between stakeholders.
• Monitor and support JV capital projects, coordinating required approvals in accordance with shareholders’ policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering (or other engineering disciplines) from an approved program.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas value chain, preferably within an International Oil Company (IOC) or National Oil Company (NOC).
• At least 5+ years of experience in joint‑venture management.
• Strong background in corporate governance, commercial issues, and various contractual agreements in Upstream Joint Ventures.
• Strong technical background in Petroleum Engineering or Drilling Engineering.
• Familiarity with financial analysis.
• Strong administration skills, able to coordinate activities across multiple parties.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with senior representatives of Saudi Aramco and outside partners.
• Ability to develop relationships and adapt the approach to cultural differences.
