Qualifications

  • Contribute to GF&CD as the one‑stop shop for Finance matters across the Group
  • Coordinate involvement of internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support affiliate matters
  • Support preparation of note disclosures for Saudi Aramco consolidated statements
  • Assist setup of new affiliates to ensure robust processes and controls
  • Brief internal management on affiliates’ matters and new projects
  • Perform financial analysis on due diligence for Affiliates and projects
  • Develop, mentor and coach team members
  • Ad‑hoc support as required

Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join Group Finance & Consulting Department (GF&CD).

GF&CD is responsible for providing decision and advisory support to Senior Management relating to matters including but not limited to, statutory & management reporting, financial & investment analysis, budgeting & planning, mergers & acquisition, governance, tax, and treasury matters impacting Saudi Aramco Affiliates. GF&CD is an integral Finance one‑stop shop that fulfills its purpose through advising Board members on upcoming Affiliates Board and other committees’ meetings and partners with Affiliates. In addition, support senior management to make informed decisions on a diverse range of financial, governance and commercial matters impacting Affiliates.

Your primary role is to support the department’s mission by providing expert financial, governance, and commercial advice to Senior Management and Board members. You will prepare briefings for Affiliate Board and committee meetings, coordinate stakeholders’ input, and ensure Group governance alignment. Additionally, you will perform financial analysis, impairment reviews, and support Purchase Price Allocations, while mentoring team members and delivering ad‑hoc support to strengthen financial oversight and strategic decision‑making.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

  • Provide expert and objective advice to Senior Management to support effective decision‑making on a diverse range of financial, governance and commercial matters impacting Affiliates
  • Deliver informative briefings to senior management to support decision making on upcoming Affiliate Board meetings as well as ad‑hoc projects and ensure compliance with Group governance
  • Review board materials for Affiliates, coordinate input from all stakeholders, and prepare insightful commentary and analysis for board members
  • Review and coordinate the preparation of impairment analysis for broad range of investments prepared by Business Lines
  • Review Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) of new acquisitions and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
  • Contribute effectively to GF&CD role of being the one‑stop shop for all Finance matters across the Group
  • Coordinate involvement of internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed to support current affiliate matters and issues
  • Support preparation of relevant note disclosures to form part of Saudi Aramco’s consolidated financial statements
  • Support set‑up and readiness of new affiliates to ensure robust processes, policies and controls are implemented which comply with Aramco Group Governance Framework.
  • Brief internal management on affiliates’ operational matters, new projects, and initiatives
  • Perform financial analysis on due diligence on Affiliates and their upcoming projects
  • Develop, mentor and coach other team members in areas of expertise.
  • Ad‑hoc support as required

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, as well as a professional certification such as a CPA, CA, or CFA. Position of an advanced business degree (ie. MBA) is preferred, but not required.
  • A Minimum 10–15 years of experience in financial reporting, IFRS, management advisory, decision support, taxation, financial analysis, financial modeling, business development, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, internal controls, and cash management & financing.
  • Experience with the Big 4 firms is preferred.
  • Strong / effective oral and written communication skills to deliver briefings to senior management
  • International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accounting standards and policies
  • Management accounting aimed towards supporting decisions
  • Experience working with affiliates in a group environment
  • Ability to analyze financial information and drive key insights
  • Ability to deliver and present reports to senior management
  • Ability to positively influence stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to working in a multi‑cultural environment
