Job summary

ARX is seeking a Roads Engineer to design and oversee road and highway projects in Riyadh. The role requires a strong grasp of geometry, alignment, pavement design, and code compliance, with at least four years in infrastructure and one year in KSA.

You will liaise with authorities and project teams, mentor junior engineers, and deliver detailed reports and designs using Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking. Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects focusing on roads and highways.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the KSA is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of road and highway systems, design and construction practices.
• Strong knowledge of relevant KSA codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee road and highway designs for infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review road geometry, alignment, grading, pavement design, and other analyses required for road systems.
• Ensure road designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems into overall project designs.
• Coordinate road levels, corridors, crossings, junctions, and interfaces with other infrastructure disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review designs and technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD team.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
