Purpose of the position: As Material Engineer you will be part of the SITP for Offshore project within Engineering department. You will support Material Engineering Design for Oil and Gas Projects.

How can you support us?

• 1 Learn and apply design standards, gain proficiency in API 571, ISO 15156/NACE MR0175, and Saudi Aramco specific standards & specifications for material selection and corrosion mitigation measures including coating selection and application requirements.
• 2 Learn to prepare detailed material selection diagrams, corrosion loop diagrams, material selection report. Learn how to use corrosion rate calculation software, microstation software and painting and insulation quantity estimation software.
• 3 Assist in Materials Selection, support senior engineers in selecting materials and corrosion mitigation measures for process piping and equipment based on process requirements.
• 4 Learn to critically review Corrosion Control Document, MSD, P&IDs, and vendor technical documents for compliance with Saudi Aramco and International codes.
• 5 Understand Material and Manufacturing Requirements, learn about materials used for process piping and equipment and their suitability for different operating conditions.
