Job summary

Uvera in Jeddah is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our hardware and IoT team. You will contribute to design, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of embedded electronics and IoT devices alongside experienced engineers.

You will work across hardware, firmware, and product design, applying knowledge of ARM/AVR microcontrollers, PCB design tools, and programming in C/C++ or Python, with a focus on reliability and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART).
• 2+ years of experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTPS) and PCB design tools (Eagle, Altium, KiCad).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototyping, and testing of electronics hardware and embedded systems for IoT devices.
• Firmware development and validation for microcontrollers and sensors.
• PCB design, soldering, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
• Conduct testing and data collection to ensure device performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware, firmware, and software.
• Maintain inventory tracking for electronic components and assist in ensuring component availability.
• Preventive maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Technical documentation, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
