KAEM Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer based in Saudi Arabia to support the development of a professional embedded communication system.
The overall system architecture and preliminary component selection have already been completed. The selected engineer will be responsible for converting the architecture into complete electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and manufacturing-ready design files using Altium Designer.

Key Responsibilities
- Review existing system architecture, block diagrams, and preliminary BOM
- Validate electrical interfaces and component selections before schematic design
- Create complete hierarchical schematics using Altium Designer
- Design multilayer PCBs from schematic through production release
- Design and integrate high-performance MCU/processor circuitry
- Design external memory interfaces and high-speed digital interfaces
- Implement digital and mixed-signal audio circuitry
- Integrate wireless/RF communication modules
- Design multi-rail power supplies for industrial input voltages
- Design protection circuits including ESD, surge, reverse-polarity, and input filtering
- Define PCB stack-up, controlled impedance, routing constraints, and design rules
- Perform BGA component placement and routing
- Address signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC, and thermal requirements
- Perform ERC and DRC verification
- Prepare complete manufacturing and PCBA documentation
- Support prototype board bring-up, troubleshooting, and design revisions
- Coordinate with firmware engineers and PCB manufacturing partners where required
- Document design decisions, interfaces, test points, and technical assumptions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a closely related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional electronic hardware design experience
- Strong practical experience with both schematic design and PCB layout
- Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer
- Demonstrated experience designing complex multilayer PCBs
- Experience with BGA processors or high-performance microcontrollers
- Experience with external RAM, Flash, and other high-speed memory interfaces
- Good understanding of high-speed digital PCB design
- Experience with digital audio interfaces such as I2S, PCM, TDM, or similar
- Experience with mixed-signal audio circuits, DACs, microphones, and audio amplifiers
- Experience integrating RF or wireless communication modules
- Experience with industrial power-supply design
- Strong knowledge of grounding, EMI/EMC, ESD, and surge protection
- Understanding of PCB signal integrity and power integrity
- Experience preparing designs for PCB fabrication and PCBA manufacturing
- Experience supporting prototype bring-up and hardware debugging

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to basic 2-layer boards, Arduino-style projects, or simple development-board integrations may not be suitable for this position.
