Job Summary

The Junior Accountant will assist in the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This includes bookkeeping, data entry, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, and ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting.
  • Help prepare tax returns, invoices, and financial documents as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to collect financial data.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles are acceptable).
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Tally).
