Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH in Jeddah seeks a Service Technician II to perform maintenance and reactive calls on material handling systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment and conveyors in accordance with diagrams and manuals.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electromechanical and at least 3 years’ electro-mechanical experience, plus CMMS knowledge and airport badge eligibility.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electromechanical.
• Minimum 3 years’ electro-mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings/prints.
• Minimum 1 year CMMS experience.
• Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport ID Badge.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling systems to ensure productivity and safety.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment and conveyors.
• Follow diagrams, manuals and manufacturer specifications using hand tools and testing instruments.
• Ensure health & safety and quality compliance during all tasks.

Job description

Service Technician II will be performing maintenance duties and reactive calls to Material handling System to ensure productivity and output, equipment asset availability, health & safety compliance, quality. Not limited to: Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and electrical equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment and conveyor systems in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher (Electrical/Electromechanical)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Electro-mechanical or electrical maintenance
• Requires understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings/prints
• Minimum 2 years of material handling experience (Preferable)
• Minimum 1 year CMMS experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of controls (PLC, PC) systems.
