Job summary

Day & Night Company for Contracting and Rental Equipment (DNC) in Riyadh seeks a Solar Solutions Engineer to design optimal solar systems, win client trust, and move deals to contract. You will report to the Sales Director and work on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solutions for farms, factories, and commercial facilities.

You will visit sites, size systems, prepare technical designs, and present proposals to engineers and decision-makers, ensuring timely contract closure and strong supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Energy Engineering (or related).
• 4-6 years in the solar market, including preparing proposals from site assessment through to quotation.
• Hands-on with PVsyst (or similar) and AutoCAD; able to read electrical drawings.
• Good knowledge of solar components, pricing and the Saudi supplier market.
• Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken.
• Strong client communication and negotiation skills.

Job Opening: Solar Solutions Engineer (Technical Sales)

Day & Night Company for Contracting and Rental Equipment (DNC) is expanding into solar energy, with a focus on farms, factories and commercial facilities. We are looking for a solar engineer in Riyadh who can design the right solution, win the client’s technical confidence and take the deal to contract. Reports to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites, assess loads and energy needs, and size the system (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid with battery or generator, and solar pumping for irrigation).
• Prepare designs, single-line diagrams, yield and savings/payback calculations, bills of quantities and technical proposals.
• Present and defend proposals to client engineers and decision-makers, and follow up until the contract is signed.
• Source and compare panels, inverters, batteries and cables from suppliers and agents on price, quality and specifications.
• Coordinate with installation partners and commissioning teams to deliver on time and to specification.
• Track the market and competitors, represent DNC at agricultural and industrial events, and report to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Energy Engineering (or related).
• 4-6 years in the solar market, including preparing proposals from site assessment through to quotation.
