Job summary

A leading restaurant technology provider is seeking a skilled IT Technician/Engineer to deliver on-site and remote technical support across outlets in Saudi Arabia. The role requires supporting various IT systems including POS and network equipment. Ideal candidates will possess strong troubleshooting skills and a background in multi-site IT support within retail or hospitality sectors. A diploma in IT and relevant certifications are preferred. The position requires a valid KSA driving license and offers competitive working conditions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in multi-site IT support, preferably in retail or hospitality.
  • Certifications: A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP, or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be currently in KSA with a valid KSA driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote IT support at restaurant outlets.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems and network infrastructure.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 environment and security controls.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Offer on-call support during off-hours and ensure staff training.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician / engineer to provide on-site and remote technical support across restaurant outlets in the KSA. This role involves supporting and maintaining a wide range of IT infrastructure and systems including POS, servers, desktop hardware, printers, network equipment, and security systems. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, responsive, and possess strong troubleshooting abilities with a customer-service mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Outlet IT Support
  • Provide first-line and second-line IT support across all outlets for hardware and software issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems (e.g., Squirrel and Restroworks), KOT, KDS, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows desktops, servers, and other IT systems.
Network & Infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connections.
  • Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, and telephone system connectivity at the outlet level.
  • Install, maintain, and support CCTV systems, biometric devices, and access control solutions.
  • Liaise with ISP providers and internal teams to resolve connectivity issues.
Application Support
  • Provide basic application-level support and guidance to users, including updates and installations.
  • Work closely with Corporate IT teams to escalate and resolve system bugs or performance issues.
  • Update IT hardware and Software Inventory and keep a record for employee /store wise assets.
Microsoft 365 Administration & Support
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 environments, including O-365, D-365 and Azure AD user lifecycle management, license optimization, role-based access control, other Microsoft business applications.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls such as Conditional Access, identity protection, and device management using Microsoft Intune.
Preventive Maintenance & Documentation
  • Conduct regular health checks and preventive maintenance for all IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assets, configurations, and incidents.
  • Ensure all outlets comply with IT standards and security protocols.
On-Call & Remote Support
  • Provide on-call support during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as per rotation.
  • Offer remote troubleshooting support using remote desktop tools or by phone.
  • Deliver IT support for RSC, QCC, and warehouse locations.
  • Ensure store staff are properly trained on POS and inventory applications.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting: POS systems, Microsoft Suits, servers, printers, KOT/KDS, desktops, etc.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS (desktop & server), and Microsoft tools.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, routers, switches (basic configuration & maintenance).
  • Experience supporting CCTV, biometric, and access control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of POS and hospitality application support.
  • Strong User support, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as team collaboration, travel frequently (KSA), and manage multiple priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a multi-site IT support role, preferably in retail or hospitality.
  • Certifications (preferred): A+, Network+, Microsoft MCP, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, CCNA, or equivalent.
