Job summary

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن) is seeking a Procurement Research, Innovation & IT Supervisor to lead category management and sourcing across IT, research, technology, and laboratory spend. The role drives sourcing pipelines, ensures compliance with policy, and partners with end users to deliver value-driven procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in procurement, supply chain, business, engineering or equivalent.
• CIPS/CSCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate category strategy into prioritised sourcing plans and pipelines.
• Supervise end-to-end sourcing activities including PR review, RFx, negotiation and awards.
• Coach Category Buyers to ensure timely, compliant procurement outcomes.
• Coordinate with IT, research and technical stakeholders for requirements and evaluation.
