Job summary

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia seeks an Academic and Administrative Services Supervisor to oversee procurement category management and sourcing for HR, library, food services, and logistics.

You will translate category strategies into actionable plans, supervise category buyers, maintain compliance with policies, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver value-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• CIPS / CSCP certification is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement.
• Experience supervising procurement staff and working in large institutional environments.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Translate category strategies into prioritised sourcing plans aligned with budgets.
• Supervise end-to-end sourcing activities and governance.
• Coach Category Buyers to ensure quality and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with HR, Library, Food Services, Logistics and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate data in Oracle and approved trackers; report performance.
• Identify improvements to tools, templates, and stakeholder engagement.
• Escalate material commercial, risk or stakeholder matters to the Director.
