Job summary

Gulf Payments Company seeks an IT Governance & Compliance Specialist in Riyadh to help develop, implement, and update the IT strategy and governance framework. You will coordinate between business operations and IT to ensure data requirements are defined and prioritized.

You will support risk and audit activities, prepare governance reports, and drive compliance with controls and industry standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO20K/27001.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in IT administrator, governance, compliance, risk management or a related field.
• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
• Certifications preferred: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or COBIT.

Responsibilities

• Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT strategy.
• Support in managing the development, implementation and updating of the IT governance model, policies and procedures and overseeing its enforcement and compliance across Gulf Payments Company.
• Act as a liaison between business operations and IT and ensure that data related requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and well understood.
• Support risk and audit assessment processes and contribute to the identification and mitigation of IT-related risks and audit findings & observations
• Prepare and present reports on IT governance metrics and compliance status to management and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of IT governance practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Ensure alignment with applicable frameworks such as ISO 20000, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL
• Oversee ITSM governance by ensuring process compliance and maturity improvements on related processes such as CMDB , service catalog data, Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management etc.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge and Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in IT administrator, governance, compliance, risk management or a related field.

Education and Certifications: Information Technology, Computer Science or any other related fields.

Certifications (Preferred): such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT or COBIT.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Experience in IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO20K)
• IT Planning, Compliance, and IT Change Management
• Relationship Management.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong understanding and knowledge in IT processes, policies, procedures and auditing.
