Confidential is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement through retirement. You will maintain accurate inventories, manage licenses, and support audits to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.

The role requires collaboration with IT, procurement, finance and HR to optimize asset utilization and reporting within ITSM/CMDB/ERP systems, while safeguarding data during disposal and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing IT asset lifecycles from procurement to retirement.
• Knowledge of software licensing, renewals, and compliance.
• Ability to maintain accurate asset inventories and records.
• Experience coordinating audits and asset reconciliations.
• Proven collaboration with IT, procurement, finance and HR teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and records.
• Track asset allocation, transfers, returns, replacements and disposals.
• Conduct periodic physical and system-based asset audits and reconciliations.
• Monitor licenses, renewals, allocations, and compliance.
• Coordinate with IT, procurement, finance, HR and other stakeholders.
• Support procurement with asset requirements and utilization reports.
• Ensure proper tagging, registration and documentation of IT assets.
• Support asset disposal with data-security procedures and documentation.
• Maintain asset records within ITSM, CMDB, ERP, or related systems.
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards on inventory, utilization and lifecycle status.
