Job summary

Müller’s Solutions in Riyadh seeks an experienced IT Asset Manager to own the asset lifecycle, ensure CMDB integrity, and drive reconciliations between discovery, procurement and records.

You will map CI dependencies, collaborate with Finance and Procurement on budgets and licenses, and enforce tagging and disposal policies while preparing monthly audit-ready reports.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT Asset Management or Configuration Management.
• Proficiency with ITSM platforms like BMC Helix.
• Strong ITIL v4 understanding, especially Service Configuration Management and ITAM.
• Advanced Excel for data reconciliation.
• Excellent communication across Finance, Procurement, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Manage full IT asset lifecycle from request to decommission.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy and mapping of CIs and relationships.
• Reconcile discovery data with procurement records to resolve discrepancies.
• Map dependencies between CIs to show service support.
• Partner with Finance for TCO, depreciation, budgets.
• Collaborate with Procurement to capture new purchases in the CMDB.
• Track licenses, maintenance, warranties to prevent overspending.

• Generate monthly leadership reports on asset health and renewal risks.

Financial & Procurement Alignment

Configuration & Asset Management:

Manage the full IT asset lifecycle: from request and acquisition to deployment, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning.

Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the CMDB, ensuring all Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships are mapped.

Perform regular reconciliations between discovery tool data, procurement records, and the CMDB to resolve discrepancies in the asset registry.

Relationship Mapping

Map dependencies between configuration items (CIs) to provide visibility into how infrastructure supports business services.

Financial & Procurement Alignment

Cost Optimization: Partner with Finance to track asset depreciation, manage budgets, and provide accurate data for total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.

Procurement Collaboration: Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure all new purchases align with technical standards and are captured in the CMDB immediately upon receipt.

Contract Management: Track software licenses, maintenance agreements, and warranties to prevent overspending on unused seats or penalties from non-compliance.

Governance & Reporting

Develop and enforce policies for asset tagging, data entry, and disposal.

Generate monthly reports for leadership regarding asset health, license compliance, and upcoming renewal risks.

Ensure the organization is "audit-ready" for both internal financial audits and external software vendor audits.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: More than 10 years of experience in IT Asset Management or Configuration Management.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like BMC Helix.
• Standards: Strong understanding of ITIL v4 frameworks, specifically Service Configuration Management and ITAM practices.
• Data Analysis: Advanced skills in Excel to manipulate and analyze large datasets for reconciliation.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments (Finance, Procurement, and IT Operations).
