• Monitor global financial markets and stay updated on market trends.

Functional Responsibilities

• 1 Collaborate with the BUs/ functions to identify key risks within their own respective areas (e.g., strategic, operational, reputational, financial) and assess their likelihood and impact on the SALIC's portfolios.
• 2 Assist with the identification and analysis of local financial risk projects related to the individual sectors as well as at the SALIC level.
• 3 Periodically review local portfolio risks, and controls and associated treatment plans in coordination with the concerned parties.
• 4 support recording and reporting of all the operational losses faced by SALIC's Portfolio.
• 5 Develop relevant reports and documentation to support management and other key stakeholders
• 6 Monitoring and evaluating the performance of local investments, identifying any deviations from expected risk levels, and proposing adjustments if necessary.
• 7 Monitoring global financial markets and staying updated on market trends and events that may affect investment portfolios.
