Job summary

Confidential Careers. Storekeeper role responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials and tools for contract work. Ensures accurate stock records, safekeeping of hazardous items, and compliance with requisitions and job costing.

The incumbent reports to Procurement Supervisor and liaises with Finance for counts and variances; requires 2–4 years in contracting or facility management, with Arabic and English proficiency. Saudi driving licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a storekeeper or stores assistant
• Experience in contracting, construction, engineering consultancy, or facility management environments
• Experience handling construction, MEP, and finishing materials and a tool store.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries against approved purchase orders; verify quantities, specifications, and condition
• Organise store with clear locations, labelling, and access control; store hazardous materials safely
• Issue materials only against approved requisitions referencing a job or work order
• Maintain accurate stock records in system; monitor min/max levels; raise replenishment requests
• Perform any other duties as required by the Procurement Supervisor
