Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group seeks a Board / Fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to provide comprehensive clinical duties and patient management. The role includes inpatient care under the physician’s name, daily patient assessments, and development of evidence-based plans of care with timely implementation.

The physician will oversee discharge planning, contribute to teaching rounds, and participate in departmental activities to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties as per assigned clinical privileges.
• Assesses patients including clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional aspects and documents assessments.
• Develops and documents plans of care in patient records.
• Ensures plans of care are implemented timely and discharge planning is initiated when appropriate.
• Becomes the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients under his/her name.
• Attends departmental meetings and contributes to improvements in efficiency and patient satisfaction.

• Performs clinical duties as per his / her assigned clinical privileges.
• Assesses his / her patients thoroughly (eg. clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional assessments) and documents patients' assessment in patients' medical records.
• Develops a plan of care for patients using an evidence-based approach and following standards of care, and documents the plan of care in patients’ medical record.
• Ensures that patients’ plan of care that is put by him/her is being implemented in a timely manner.
• Becomes the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under his / her name.
• For inpatients admitted under his / her name, develops discharge plan on day of admission and involves discharge-planning service as early as possible if warranted.
• Assesses inpatients that are admitted under his / her name at least once daily and ensures documentation of daily assessment and plan of care in daily progress notes using SOAP format.
• Responds to medical consultations in timely manner.
• Documents medical interventions that he / she performs on patients in a timely manner.
• Strictly follows Fakeeh care standards for documentation in medical records
• Responsible for timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries for patients admitted under his / her name. Also responsible for ensuring that indicated discharge instructions and education on take home medications is done prior to patients discharge.
• Attends to Fakeeh Health Care facility duties and responds to calls from the facility as per the departmental /section call schedule.
• Attends departmental and general staff meetings and contributes ideas for improving efficiency, productivity and patient satisfaction.
• Responsible for writing medical reports of his / her patients in a timely manner
• and as per Fakeeh care format
• Contributes to teaching rounds and teaching activities as requested by chairperson of medical department
• Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Job Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to clearly communicate with patients and their families, physicians
• and non-medical staff.
• Microsoft computer skills.
• Should have good organization skills and be able to work in high stress situations.

Experience

• Completion of experience according to the regional health regulatory authority
• (as mentioned in education) within the field of specialty, in recognized medical
• centers.

Requirements

Education:

• Board / Fellowship as Interventional Radiology

Licenses / Certification

• License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA), BLS and advanced license if applicable.
