Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a physician to perform clinical duties within assigned privileges in a hospital setting. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and document care in medical records in line with standards.

Responsibilities include daily inpatient assessments, discharge planning, timely consultations, and adherence to documentation rules. You will participate in teaching rounds and educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to clearly communicate with patients and families, physicians and staff.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and medical record systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in high-stress environments.
• Board or Fellowship certification in relevant specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties per assigned clinical privileges.
• Assesses patients clinically, socioeconomically, psychologically and functionally; documents in medical records.
• Develops evidence-based care plans; documents plan of care in records.
• Ensures plan of care is implemented timely.
• Acts as MRPD for inpatients admitted under their name.
• Develops discharge plans on admission and involves discharge planning as warranted.
• Assesses inpatients daily and documents progress notes (SOAP).
• Responds to medical consultations promptly and documents interventions.
• Follows Fakeeh Care documentation standards.
• Ensures discharge instructions and take-home education are provided before discharge.
• Attends facility duties and responds to calls per schedule.
• Attends meetings and contributes to efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Writes medical reports in a timely manner and per care format.
• Contributes to teaching rounds and activities as requested by chairperson.
• Educates patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Performs other duties within scope of responsibility.

• Assesses his / her patients thoroughly (eg. clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional assessments) and documents patients' assessment in patients' medical records.
• Develops a plan of care for patients using an evidence-based approach and following standards of care, and documents the plan of care in patients’ medical record.
• Ensures that patients’ plan of care that is put by him/her is being implemented in a timely manner.
• Becomes the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients admitted under his / her name.
• For inpatients admitted under his / her name, develops discharge plan on day of admission and involves discharge-planning service as early as possible if warranted.
• Assesses inpatients that are admitted under his / her name at least once daily and ensures documentation of daily assessment and plan of care in daily progress notes using SOAP format.
• Responds to medical consultations in timely manner.
• Documents medical interventions that he / she performs on patients in a timely manner.
• Strictly follows Fakeeh care standards for documentation in medical records
• Responsible for timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries for patients admitted under his / her name. Also responsible for ensuring that indicated discharge instructions and education on take home medications is done prior to patients discharge.
• Attends to Fakeeh Health Care facility duties and responds to calls from the facility as per the departmental /section call schedule.
• Attends departmental and general staff meetings and contributes ideas for improving efficiency, productivity and patient satisfaction.
• Responsible for writing medical reports of his / her patients in a timely manner

Experience

• Completion of experience according to the regional health regulatory authority
• (as mentioned in education) within the field of specialty, in recognized medical centers.

Education

• Board / Fellowship.

Licenses / Certification

• License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS /DHA), BLS and advanced license if applicable.
