Job summary

Noon in Riyadh is seeking an Assistant Manager Instock to own stock availability, forecast demand, and optimize warehouse space for Food and Non-Food categories. You will drive replenishment, manage S&OP, monitor OOS and overstock, and collaborate with Commercial and Operations to maximize on-shelf availability.

You will build forecasts, plan capacity, support promotions, and turn sales and inventory data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, category operations, or business analytics — ideally in e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, or FMCG.
• Strong SQL. You can pull, join, and aggregate large datasets yourself without waiting for an analyst.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets. Comfortable building models, pivots, and reporting that others rely on.
• Solid grounding in inventory fundamentals: safety stock, reorder points, lead time, coverage, service level.
• Working knowledge of demand forecasting — you understand time-series behaviour (trend, seasonality, intermittency), know how baseline forecasts are built and adjusted, and can measure and interpret forecast accuracy and bias (MAPE, WMAPE, forecast error). You don't need to build the model, but you must be able to tell a good forecast from a bad one and explain why it missed.
• Strong analytical instinct — you can look at a number, know it's wrong, and find out why.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management. You'll be coordinating with buyers, warehouse managers, and ops leads daily.
• Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity. Quick commerce moves fast and the answer is rarely sitting in a report already.
• Python for analysis and automation (pandas, basic scripting).
• Hands-on experience with statistical or ML forecasting methods (ARIMA/ETS, regression, gradient boosting) or with a commercial forecasting/replenishment system.
• Experience working with dark stores, micro-fulfilment, or perishables.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).

• Own in-stock performance and availability for the category.
• Build forecasts, replenishment plans, and lead S&OP cycles.
• Monitor stock levels, OOS, overstock, and waste.
• Plan and optimize warehouse space and capacity usage.
• Support promotions and seasonal planning.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams.
• Provide actionable insights from sales, inventory, and space utilisation data.
