Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for major infrastructure projects. The role focuses on sourcing, supplier compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery aligned with project schedules and regulatory standards.

You will engage in RFQ processes, vendor qualification reviews, and coordination with design and contracts teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution in a large PMO environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 6 years experience in procurement within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management, and commercial evaluations.
• Understanding of Saudi Government Tender and Procurement Law.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in line with project timelines and budgets.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, and conduct commercial bid analysis.
• Review vendor qualifications and ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
• Recommend approved suppliers based on performance, pricing, and compliance.
• Monitor supplier delivery schedules and contractual obligations.
• Maintain procurement logs, vendor databases, and material approval records.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and contracts teams to ensure timely supply chain execution.
• Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, client policies, and Saudi procurement regulations.
• Support reporting and documentation for procurement activities.
