Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee contracts and commercial activities on road and infrastructure projects in Riyadh. You will manage and administer contracts, review terms, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance while supporting project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong knowledge of standard forms such as FIDIC/NEC, expertise in claims management, negotiation, and financial acumen.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, construction management, law, or related field.
Proven experience in contract management and commercial roles within road and infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.
Proficiency in contract administration, claims management and dispute resolution.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong financial acumen and cost-control expertise.
Ability to interpret legal documents and contractual obligations.
Effective leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer contracts.
Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
Prepare and review claims, variations, and change orders.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and correspondence.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes.
Prepare reports on commercial performance and contractual issues for senior management.
Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and financial reporting.
