Job summary
MUAF – Military Uniforms & Accessories Factory in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Software Engineer/Industrial Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize software and machine-facing systems within a manufacturing environment.
The role combines software engineering and industrial software engineering, focusing on applications, databases, APIs, HMI/SCADA, IT/OT connectivity, and integration with production equipment.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, industrial software, application support, or a similar role.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
- Experience supporting Industrial PCs and machine-related software.
- Experience with HMI, SCADA, PLC systems, databases, or industrial automation is an advantage.
- Experience in IT/OT integration and manufacturing systems is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support software applications for manufacturing.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into software solutions.
- Support and maintain software for Industrial PCs and operator workstations.
- Troubleshoot software and communications between machines and IT/OT systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and machine manufacturers to resolve issues.
- Ensure cybersecurity and compliance of industrial software.
