Job summary

Siemens AG in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Industrial Automation Team Lead to guide control system projects, oversee software integration, hardware planning, and client deliveries. The role emphasizes technical leadership across multi‑discipline teams and cross‑border collaboration, with a strong focus on lifecycle project management and customer success.

The ideal candidate brings 10–12 years in engineering/commissioning on Siemens PCS 7 and related OT cybersecurity experience, plus willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or similar) with 10–12 years’ experience in project, service and bidding.
• 8–10 years’ experience in engineering & commissioning on Siemens DCS/SCADA – PCS 7.
• Ability to take on technical lead tasks and manage subprojects within automation projects.
• Sound knowledge of OT cybersecurity concepts and deployments.
• Willingness to travel frequently (40%).
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control system solutions for projects according to customers’ specifications and practices.
• Create project specifications and clarifications with suppliers and customers for Water Distribution, Chemical & Petrochemical, Oil & Gas SCADA, ESD systems.
• Oversee software engineering and integration of third‑party systems and hardware planning for control cabinets.
• Perform functional tests, optimizations, acceptance and delivery to the customer.
• Prepare, review and update project documentation and support bidding teams.
• Maintain regular updates on project execution, team performance and key developments for management.
