Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Service Engineer for Saudi Arabia on a contractual basis. The role focuses on design, programming, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems to ensure reliable plant operations.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, support commissioning, and collaborate with operations teams to optimize performance. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electronics/Mechatronics/Instrumentation & Control, with 10+ years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.
• 10+ years in Control Systems; minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with ABB 800xA and Siemens PLCs/S7 and TIA Portal.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and RSLogix 5000.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP; ladder logic, FBD, STL.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) and MS 365.
• Strong communication and teamwork under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program control systems (PLC, SCADA).
• Prepare functional specs, control philosophies, and system architecture.
• Configure HMI/SCADA interfaces for process visualization and control.
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems to ensure uptime.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT).
• Support plant operations with system performance analysis and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and cybersecurity practices.
