Job summary

Nova Water in Saudi Arabia is seeking a QC Specialist to monitor in-process and final bottled water quality against rigid standards. You will operate sampling plans, calibrate instruments, and ensure GMP and personal hygiene on production lines.

You will validate measurements after maintenance, hold suspect products, update QC and SAP reports, and provide guidance on data trends to support decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant field
• 1-3 years experience in bottled water or beverage company

Responsibilities

• Monitor established Control Points and Critical Control Points for bottled water products as per sampling plan.
• Perform calibration of measuring instruments.
• Validate measurements after any machine repair, adjustment, or maintenance, e.g. caps torque, fill volume
• Hold suspect/affected products for inspection before releasing.
• Ensure GMP and Personal Hygiene is being followed in the production lines.
• Update all reports related to QC and SAP.
• Perform other work-related tasks to be assigned by his immediate supervisor.

Education

• Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas.
• Provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
• Provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
