Job summary

Ernst & Young AE is seeking a senior IFRS Advisory Manager to lead a team of IFRS specialists in the MENA region, focusing on pre-transaction structuring to achieve compliant accounting outcomes. You will collaborate with EY’s global experts to deliver high‑quality IFRS guidance, co‑coach the next generation of IFRS talent, and actively contribute to client projects and internal advisory work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IFRS accounting advisory experience, including at least 3 years as Senior Manager at a Big Four firm.
• Current or prior IFRS desk experience for at least 1 year, or strong IFRS knowledge.
• CA/CPA/ACCA certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills.
• Ability to research and analyze emerging accounting issues and industry practices.
• Excellent managerial and organizational skills.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IFRS technical accounting specialists to assist clients in structuring upcoming transactions.
• Provide cutting-edge IFRS accounting advice on pre-transaction structuring during contract and commercial term negotiations.
• Collaborate with EY’s global subject-matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality advice.
• Serve as the focal point for clients and support advisory teams in shaping the most appropriate transaction structure.
• Co-coach and develop the next generation of IFRS technical accounting talent.
• Proactively contribute to client projects and internal advisory work.
