Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a qualification in Spanish; master’s degree preferred.
• Certification as a teacher.
• Excellent command of Spanish, as a native language, and English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IB Spanish instruction according to the IBDP course guide and principles of best practices.
• Design inquiry-based experiences that connect language learning to real-world issues and interdisciplinary concepts.
• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum goals and documented standards.
• Maintain attendance records, grades and required records; evaluate and grade student work.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues and contribute to school committees.
