Job summary

The Cigna Group in Saudi Arabia's Middle East claims processing operation seeks a Claims Support Specialist. You will take receipt of claim batches, log and file claims, scan hard-copy documents, and plan daily processing to meet turnaround targets.

The role requires strong organizational skills, good medical terminology knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication. You will work independently or as part of a team in a hybrid environment, handling deadlines with accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1 years’ experience performing a similar role; combining administration and stakeholder contact.
• Experience of working for an international company preferred.
• Previous claims or insurance experience preferred.
• Broad awareness of medical terminology, advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Strong administration awareness; essential.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• First class written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate across a diverse population.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for achieving agreed objectives.

Responsibilities

• Take receipt of submitted claim batches from providers and members.
• Log and file claims for tracking and processing.
• Scan and image hard-copy claims.
• Plan daily processing schedules for the Claims Team.
• Assemble processing batches and assign to team members.
• Update status in systems after processing.
• Reach out to providers and members to gather information.
• Resolve inbound queries to maximize first time resolution.
• Provide regular claims status reporting.
