Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer II, HV System, to join the product engineering team. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to drive investigations to resolution for products in production, demonstrating a can-do attitude and delivering impactful results in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes design-for-manufacturability and serviceability feedback, with responsibility for HV system design intent on the assembly line and process improvements to maintain design

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in electric vehicles or high-voltage systems with a BS; or 2+ years with MS.
• Experience using vehicle/system-level diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Experience with HV systems in BEVs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot vehicle/system level issues using standard diagnostic tools (Canalyzer/Canape).
• Solve complex component/system level problems using standard problem-solving techniques.
• Data-driven proactive problem solving and issue avoidance due to process deviations or quality issues.
• Provide design for manufacturability and serviceability feedback for future product development.
• Own design intent assembly requirements of HV system on the assembly line.
• Advise on build process development and improvements to preserve design intent.
