Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Staff Battery & Inverter Manufacturing Engineer to lead HV Battery Pack and Inverter assembly processes at our AMP-2 greenfield facility. You’ll own process development, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, and NPI readiness, ensuring high FPY, quality, and safety across the launch.

The role requires 8+ years in automotive battery or power-electronics manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and leadership to mentor a multicultural team in English/Arabic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant engineering discipline with preference for a master’s degree.
• Demonstrated PFMEA, PPAP and SPC experience within IATF 16949 environments.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own all technical aspects of Battery & Inverter operations on a greenfield launch.
• Define end-to-end process flow, specs, characteristics, controls, and reaction plans.
• Lead PFMEA registers, control plans, PPAP deliverables, and MTTR/MTBF initiatives.
• Drive MES-integrated SPC, traceability, and NPI readiness for new variants.
• Mentor Saudi nationals and support Safe Launch activities and capacity verification.
