Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Senior Safety & Environmental professional in Saudi Arabia to lead health and safety initiatives across the local organization.

You will drive safe working practices, coach employees, and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards to reinforce a strong safety culture and reliable operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with CSP desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, preferably Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety and environmental roles.
• CSP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate health and safety initiatives and processes across the organization.
• Train, coach and support the organization on health, safety and environmental issues.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety standards and guidelines (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Monitor compliance and handle nonconformances per procedures.
• Provide guidance on competency-based safety training for all personnel.
• Assist management in risk assessments and accident investigations.
