Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a HSE Manager to join our award-winning team based in Saudi Arabia
- The HSE Manager will be responsible for maintaining effective operation and management of KEO s Safety Management System on our mega project
- Providing HSE advice and information to KEO staff and contractors to raise the standards of Health and Safety on site
- We envisage success in this role to include Ensuring the effective implementation of the KEO SMS on the project
- Establishing a working relationship promoting and advising on HSE issues with the Client KEO Project Team and Contractors
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of HSE best practices and standards
- Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the SMS reviewing and recommending revisions as necessary to the Regional H&S Manager
- Carrying out HSE training based on training needs assessment and training programme for KEO employees on the project
- Monitoring and reporting on the standards of HSE achieved by the Contractors and maintain statistical data for the Project
- Ensuring that incident reporting & investigation is carried out effectively and immediately to determine root cause and provide recommendations directions aimed at preventing re-occurrence
- Reviewing and analysing the project incident data & KPI s on a monthly basis
- Carrying out periodic inspections of the project to ensure compliance & where applicable make recommendations for change
- Managing the activities of & assign duties for KEO Safety Officers
- Reviewing of contractor s H & S documentation for compliance to relevant standards
- Tracking the closure of H & S violation reports and H & S inspection reports that are issued to the contractor
- Chairing Project H & S Meetings & attend construction Progress Meetings
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Safety & Environmental. Chartered status with NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is required along with project experience gained from working on mixed use projects.
