Job summary

SD (Middle East) LLC is seeking a tech-savvy HSE Officer (Saudi National) to join our EHS team in Riyadh. This role blends strong HSE knowledge with advanced data skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Power BI, to transform safety data into actionable insights for compliance and risk reduction.

You will implement policies, conduct audits, manage records, deliver safety training, and support environmental data management across operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HSE/Safety Officer in Oil & Gas, Industrial Projects, or O&M environments.
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of hazardous materials, safe practices, and legal requirements.
• Experience preparing safety reports, audits, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Implement HSE policies in line with legal and client requirements.
• Support projects by integrating HSE standards across operations.
• Ensure accurate HSE reporting to meet obligations.
• Conduct workplace inspections and ensure HSE objectives are met.
• Assist with accident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports, bulletins, and communications for staff.
• Identify hazards and provide on-site coaching on safe practices.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and inductions.
• Participate in HSE audits and maintain records.
• Manage environmental data (waste, fuel, water, recycling) with logistics.
