Job Overview:
Supervise hospitality operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment across assigned facilities. Oversee staff performance, maintain compliance with company policies, and deliver high-quality housekeeping services that meet organizational and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure daily cleaning tasks are completed to quality standards.
- Inspect facilities regularly to verify cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Allocate tasks, schedules, and resources effectively to meet operational requirements.
- Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and proper equipment use.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Address housekeeping-related issues, complaints, or service gaps promptly.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and company housekeeping policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to support special events, deep cleaning, or emergency needs.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, cleaning schedules, and inspection reports.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and recommend efficiency enhancements.
- Prepare periodic performance reports for management review.
- Ensure alignment of individual and team efforts with the organization's strategic goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform any additional duties or tasks assigned by the direct supervisor, as required to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Educational Background:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Housekeeping Management, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Certification in housekeeping management or occupational health and safety is an advantage.
