Job summary

Power Mech Projects Limited is seeking a Lifting Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise heavy lifting and equipment erection at power plant sites. You will develop lifting plans, verify crane capacities, and ensure adherence to HSE requirements and project specifications.

The role requires 5–8 years of heavy lifting experience, familiarity with HRSG systems and EPC projects in Saudi Arabia, and teamwork with construction, QA/QC, and subcontractor teams to maintain safety and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Extensive knowledge of cranes, rigging equipment and lifting operations.
• Experience with HRSG turbines, heavy equipment erection and EPC projects is preferred.
• Saudi Arabia project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and control lifting and erection activities for HRSG turbines and heavy equipment.
• Prepare lifting plans, crane load charts, rigging studies and lifting sequences.
• Verify crane capacity, ground conditions and lifting accessories before operations.
• Coordinate with construction, HSE, QA/QC and subcontractors for safe lifting.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with JSA, RA, and PTW requirements.
• Supervise and monitor lifting operations ensuring proper positioning and protection of equipment.
• Inspect lifting equipment and documents for certification and fit-for-purpose status.
• Maintain lifting operation records and progress reports.
• Identify lifting hazards and implement preventive measures to ensure safety.
