Job summary

Parsons seeks a Health and Safety Manager to join our team and oversee SH&E programs, audit worksites, and guide personnel to mitigate safety risks. You will assist the program manager and ensure compliance with ESHARP standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in OSH (or related) and NEBOSH certification with 8+ years experience (4+ in a similar role), plus strong communication skills for training and reporting; you will create records and deliver regular safety briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience).
• NEBOSH Certification (or equivalent) with minimum 8 years' experience and at least 4 years in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of federal and state SH&E regulations and reporting procedures.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
• Audit the project and its worksites against corporate standards.
• Inspect worksites to detect hazard; provide expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control SH&E risks.
• Create and submit written audit and inspection reports.
• Monitor project or program work planning and performance; verify planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ ESHARP system; implement injury and incident reporting and management processes.
• Perform trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; create and submit regular analysis reports.
• Perform regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
• Create and maintains SH&E training records.
• Participate in routine safe work briefings.
