Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a Health & Safety Supervisor to oversee site safety across major construction projects in Riyadh. You will lead safety program implementation, ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, and drive a culture of continuous safety improvement.

You will collaborate with project managers and site teams to identify risks, conduct training, and deliver incident investigations with root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certifications.
• Saudi Labor Law, SBC, and GOSI safety regs knowledge.
• ISO 45001 and OSHA familiarity; risk assessment and incident investigations.
• Proficiency with safety management software; SCE registration required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and standards across construction sites.
• Monitor compliance with Saudi Labor Law, SBC, and GOSI safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and site visitors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses with root cause analyses and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety into planning and execution.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce compliance among site personnel.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, trainings, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and certifications.
• Promote a safety-first culture through toolbox talks and safety drills.
• Support sustainability and green building standards where applicable.
