A leading dairy and foodstuff company in Riyadh is seeking an experienced professional to manage Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) operations. Responsibilities include implementing HSE systems, conducting audits, and supervising training activities. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree, OSHA or NEBOSH certification, and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably FMCG. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
1.Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) System Implementation
Coordinate risk assessment of potential occupational hazards, recording of all incidents, review of theassessment fi ndings and follow up on action plans for improvements in all the locations under the region inaccordance with HSE Management system and conformance to HSE standards.
Facilitate incident investigations of all incidents and near-misses and follow up to ensure closure to allinvestigations.
2.Training.
Supervise, coordinate and promote HSE and security training and awareness activities in line with HSEmanagement system.
3.HSE & Security Control
Plan the HSE and security monitoring activities at all locations in the region in order to ensure compliancewith SADAFCO standards and local and / or international regulations.
Review all performance monitoring reports in accordance with SADAFCO standards and procedures.
Support and propose HSE and security improvement actions based on assessments done.
Enforce contractual and regulatory requirements where necessary.
Ensure applying all security polices and standard procedures are followed in all assigned locations.
Time and attendance controls of security and HSE staffs.
Scheduling of staff on a monthly basis and controlling expenses on overtime.
To ensure reviewing nightshift patrol systems daily and report any discrepancies with disciplinary actiontaken.
Periodical reporting on HSE and security as per the system and policies.
4.Audits
Conduct regular on-site visits / audits / inspections in all the locations in the region so as to identify andcorrect potential hazardous conditions.
Conduct and coordinate safety inspections and / or audits according to HSE plans and follow up oncorrective and preventive actions.
Perform
monthly security and fi re and safety equipment inspections per location.
Analyze HSE and security-related accidents, incidents and near misses in order to take appropriate action asrequired to ensure all locations in the region are aligned to HSE standards.
Educational level: Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Specific diploma/education: OSHA or NEBOSH certification
Minimal experience: 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably the FMCG industry.
Languages: Should be fluent in English (read, write, speak). However, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
