Jazera Arabia Contracting in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer (Health, Safety & Environment) to oversee health, safety, and environmental activities across construction sites. The role is fully field-based, requiring regular site inspections, risk assessments, safety monitoring, and incident investigations to maintain a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of HSE experience in road and bridge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of HSE experience in road and bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and ISO 45001.
• Experience in site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety monitoring across construction sites.
• Perform hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement risk control measures.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and review Health and Safety Plans (HSE Plans) for projects.

We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer (Health, Safety & Environment) with a strong background in road and bridge construction projects to oversee health, safety, and environmental activities across our construction sites. The role is fully field-based, involving regular site inspections, risk assessments, safety monitoring, incident investigations, and coordination with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant HSE experience.
• Proven experience in road and bridge construction projects.
• Extensive experience in managing safety activities on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures.
• Experience in preparing and implementing Health and Safety Plans (HSE Plans).
• Experience in conducting site safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Strong knowledge of safety requirements for excavation, lifting operations, working at heights, and heavy equipment operations.
• Knowledge of traffic management plans and road work zone safety requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience in coordinating with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
• Strong communication, reporting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
