Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group is seeking an experienced HSE leader for construction projects in Jeddah. You will develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, lead safety culture initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance across all site activities.

The role requires 12+ years in HSE management within building construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with proficiency in HSE software/tools. This position is based on-site in Jeddah and reports to the HSE Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in HSE management within building construction projects.
• Professional certifications related to HSE are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans tailored to building construction projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project schedules and workflows.
• Provide strategic leadership in promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Lead by example and actively engage with project teams to reinforce safety priorities.
• Stay abreast of local and international HSE regulations applicable to building construction.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for construction activities and identify potential hazards.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks to personnel and property.
• Oversee the development and delivery of HSE training programs for project personnel.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability on construction sites.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses and analyze root causes.
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE activities, incident reports and training records.
• Generate regular reports for project stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols.
• Conduct drills and exercises to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE processes.
• Work closely with third-party auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards
