Job description
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Contributes to the development of divisional strategy and ensures translation and alignment during the development and monitoring of departmental strategy including objectives, targets and initiatives
  • Recommends improvements to departmental policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of the Credit Analysis activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Credit Analysis department to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
  • Successful product development/enhancements and achieving Product Rollout within targeted time for the assigned products.
  • Manage a team for implementation and onboarding of clients to SCF platform along with providing training to use platform.
Product Ownership
  • Establish core trade product ownership within Riyad Bank and work towards its targeted performance in all relevant business segments.
  • Ensure alignment between all related internal partners (Trade Ops, CBG Segments, Digital, IT, CCD, Risk, Ops, Compliance, Legal and Branch Network).
  • Maximize product revenue, profitability and market share.
  • Implement and review relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Adhere to the Bank’s AML/CTF policy, guidelines and all SAMA’s regulations relating to account opening, KYC compliance and updating customer records.
  • Product Development and Product Performance
  • Develop and deliver new products & services as well as improve and manage existing products and services.
  • Be responsible for overall Internal approval cycle and rollout of products and services. Prepare Internal Product Approval Forms and complete the process of development till launch.
  • Participate in formulation of product programs and enhancement of new and existing products and solutions in coordination with all internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations; handover finalized products to Launch and marketing.
  • Provide input to all relevant product processes; propose new ideas to create new product and enhancements.
  • Create product delivery procedures, participate in devising different pricing & risk mitigation techniques.
  • Constantly enhance and upgrade existing services to meet customer needs and market gaps.
  • To align requirements of products and services offered to stakeholders and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • To constantly enhance and introduce new digital capabilities to address changing customer and market requirements and support customer journey.
  • To align with the market research unit researching competitor offerings in order to evaluate potential improvements and/or new product development.
  • Develop and improve existing products and services by reviewing current product characteristics vis‑à‑vis competitive position and key performance indicators.
  • Develop product fact sheets, preparation of customer communication and assistance of product transition TAT.
  • Drive all post‑implementation reviews by evaluating product performance and post reports generated internally or by other concerned parties.
  • Maintain, groom and update knowledge to Riyad Bank customer base and internal business teams for SCF product awareness and market updates.
  • Ensure monitoring of targeted rollouts by identifying cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Utilize Trade related statistical reports and Delivery Team plan to improve product penetration.
  • Participate in Marketing of SCF products.
  • Stimulates subordinates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Assesses the impact of introduced changes to people, process and systems and develops relevant communication and awareness initiatives to support the effective implementation of change.
  • Supervises the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
  • Represents the function and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform responsibilities as a member in Credit Committees whenever assigned by Credit Division
  • Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or any related discipline.
  • 10-12 years of Banking experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands‑on product development / Trade Finance related core experience and 3 Years specific experience in implementing Supply Chain Finance.
  • Holding broad knowledge in Trade Finance and digital platforms. A plus if worked in Trade Finance & Digital banking.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or any related discipline.
