Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Director - Design (Sports Stadium) to lead the design strategy and development of world‑class stadium projects, aligning with brand identity and performance goals.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, drive innovation in fan experience, safety and sustainability, and ensure timely delivery while navigating regulatory standards and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale stadium or venue design.
• Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of stadium design principles, building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architectural vision for sports stadium projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's strategic objectives and brand identity.
• Manage and mentor multidisciplinary design teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants specialized in sports facility design.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and operations teams to deliver integrated and efficient designs that meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Drive innovation in stadium design including fan experience, accessibility, sustainability, and technology integration.
• Oversee coordination with external stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure design compliance and timely project delivery.
• Manage design budgets and schedules to optimize resources and maintain project goals.
