Job summary

KBR is seeking a Head of QA/QC to lead quality assurance for maintenance operations, develop QA plans, and ensure adherence to HSEQ standards. The role requires strong leadership and extensive experience in quality control within large organizations.

The candidate will coordinate audits, drive continuous improvement, and manage QA resources to deliver cost-effective, compliant maintenance activities across multi-cultural teams in a global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in quality control/QA.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices.
• Holding 'NACE' Level 2.
• Strong knowledge in root cause analysis (RCA).
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop QA plans and other required process control procedures to ensure maintenance processes meet the specified quality and HSEQ standards of Company.
• Maintaining the Corrective Action program and other quality systems
• Development and implementation of Quality Management System
• Coordinate and participate in internal audits with Company Quality personnel.
• Conduct QA investigations (Deviations, Out-of-Specifications, etc.)
• Review maintenance processes and ensure SOPs and work instructions are followed
• Liaise with other departments on Quality Assurance issues
• Carry out other Quality Assurance functions as they may arise
• Support contractor staff in its mission of compliance and continuous improvement
• Ensure QA department personnel are trained to perform their jobs effectively and manage the QA department budget and other administrative functions to ensure an efficient maintenance operation that is cost effective and well-integrated.
