Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a strategic Head of Marine and Specialty to lead growth in Riyadh. You will shape business strategy, manage risk, and drive profitability across Marine and Specialty lines.

You will build and mentor a high-performing underwriting team, oversee pricing, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance, and report on financial performance to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree or certifications (ACII, CPCU) desirable.
• 15+ years experience in the insurance industry, Marine and Specialty focus.
• Expertise in underwriting, pricing, and reinsurance for Marine and Specialty risks.
• Strong knowledge of operational risk, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
